ACS CALENDAR
At ACS, we follow an American school calendar that runs from August to June, and we are officially authorized
by the Bolivian Ministry of Education to register students only at the beginning of our academic year.
Feb- Nov
Transfers from a Bolivian School
If you are transferring from a Bolivian School your child has already been assigned a RUDE number, where we can track schooling history within the Bolivian School system. Students are placed in grade levels in accordance to grade level completion backed up by official report cards.
If your child is transferring from a Bolivian school with a Bolivian school calendar your child will be repeating 6 months, due to a change of calendar.
Aug- Jun
Transferring from Bolivian Schools with an American Calendar
If your child is transferring from a Bolivian school with an American calendar your child may continue in the same grade level, however, their previous school may register their students to the Bolivian Ministry of Education at a different time, which could cause your student to be enrolled one year below in the Bolivian Education System. Your child will receive their Bolivian Graduation diploma one year after graduating from ACS.
If you are transferring from abroad, you need to present apostilled or legalized report cards in order for us to register your children to the Bolivian Ministry of Education.

Bolivian Equivalency Process
Students are placed in grade levels in accordance to grade-level completion backed up by official report cards.
You must follow the following steps, in order to be eligible for the Bolivian Bachillerato. Once legalized copies are provided you will have to complete the following steps:
- Present the legalized copies to the Cancillería.
- Present the approved grades to the Ministry of Education for an equivalency process.
- Comply with any further requirements mandated by the Ministry of Education.
