Community Service Project
ACS Calvert believes that developing the whole student through community service is essential to its educational mission. CSP’s provide students with opportunities to develop empathy, compassion, integrity, and respect for others through meaningful and regular service. CSP’s at ACS Calvert have included: Habitat for Humanity, recycling on campus, working in the ACS greenhouse, visits and activities at the local orphanage.
For grades 9-12 students, CSP hours are a graduation requirement: 20 hours per year = .25 credits per year.
For more information regarding CSP, please contact Carola Sainz (CSP Coordinator).
